Information on adding Custom logo's to your web pages.
When you receive your custom LOGO in your email, you can follow these
steps for installing it into your web pages.
*note* You will often receive two images for your logo:
"logo.gif" and "logo_small.gif"
The "logo.gif" image is the custom logo with background
image and text.
The "logo_small.gif" is the custom text only.
If you received both files, then you have the option of placing the
new logo.gif file into the images folder of your web,
this image will replace the generic logo image and background throughout
your entire web site. You may want to backup the current "logo.gif"
before you attempt this. Once you agree to overwrite the current file,
there is no going back. With this method, you will change every page
in your web site.
Or you can place the logo_small.gif into the images folder
of your web, and drag this image into the cell with the generic logo
background. Delete the generic welcome image first, and replace it with
your new "logo_small.gif". The text logo's are created with a
transparent background, and are exactly the same size as the cell they
are intended for.
If you would like to learn more about adding graphics to your web

256 or fewer distinct colors are automatically converted to GIF, while
all other graphics are converted to JPEG.
Web hosting and web site marketing abound throughout the internet.
There is no shortage of quality web hosts. We've put together a shopping
list of things you should consider when looking to host your web site.
The list of potential web hosts is huge, we've only supplied links to
web hosting review sites. From there you can find out how well your
potential web hosts rate, from both the industry and their customers.
Although there are many great offers presented to you, consider your
needs first, to save a head ache later. As suggested in the catalogue,
determine what you will be using your web site for, and what applications
you wish to run on it. If you are going to be using a database in your
site, with .asp generated pages, your option is to host your web site
with a windows 2000 service provider. If you will be selling products
on your web site, find a quality web host providing an e-commerce package
with shopping cart capabilities. The list goes on.

Links to hosting review sites. Please keep in mind some of the following
facts while you search and research your new web hosts:
- Make sure that your host has FrontPage extensions installed
- If you can, see if your host had a support section for troubleshooting
FrontPage error messages. FrontPage extensions are easily corrupted,
and you will need to know how to fix the errors, and what "NOT TO
TOUCH" in your web directory.
- If you have FrontPage 2002, make sure your host provides FrontPage
2002 extensions for your hosting plan. You will not be able
to take advantage of these new great features if the most recent extensions
are not installed.
- If you are planning on using the database wizard, you will need
a Windows 2000 or NT account. There are other ways of making the database
connect to ASP, but you lose the convenience that this feature intended.
- Many hosting companies offer free domain registration.
- It is easier to get your domain and your hosting package set up
at the same time.
- Most hosting companies offer at least 3 payment plans, monthly,
quarterly, and yearly. The discount for the average month growing
large for the longer the payment term.
- The advertised monthly price is often based on paying for 12 months
in advance. You may save a few dollars each month, to shell out $200
to $600 or more right up front.
- Many hosting companies do not charge a set up fee when you sign
up, and others charge anywhere from $20 - $50 or more.
- Some hosting companies have the default payment options set to
12 months. When your filling out the sign up form, make sure that
you have chosen the payment plan that you want, or sufer a large visa
statement at the end of the month.
